What is Attuannik?
Attuannik means north wind in the Inuit language, referring to the inspiration that comes from the kayaks greenlandeses.
Attuannik is a kayak of Greenlandic style, that means that it has little volume in its exposed part (dead work), in addition to sharp bilges in its hull. This gives this type of kayak some very specific characteristics, such as the low wind disturbance and very good maneuverability by edging. Making attuannik an ideal kayak for playing with the waves and practicing Greenlandic or roll maneuvers. It is developed to be used with most intermediate to advanced kayakers, allows you to enjoy from a day of surf and waves to 1 or 2 days trips thanks to its good ability to maintain the course, without losing maneuverability.
