Our Greenlandic kayak paddles have been refined to improve sea kayaking performance

With these kayak paddles we will have safer and more effective responses in all maneuvers and skiing.The optimum degree of flexibility of a Greenlandic paddle provides us with a great shock absorber that preserves our muscles and joints.

The Greenlandic paddles have a very comfortable and ergonomic grip, with which we will always have our hands well positioned. We can maintain with them a great cruising speed without great effort.

Structural reinforcement tips

All our paddle models incorporate hardwood reinforcement tips attached to the shaft by a beechwood insert and glued with epoxy adhesive.

Brazilian Cedar and Paulownia Woods

We use these woods, taking advantage of the contrast in colors and densities that this combination provides.

The ideal weight

The finished Nautilus paddles weigh between 800 and 950g depending on the densities of the piece and whether or not they have reinforcements of harder woods.

Finished with Tung oil

The standard finish for Nautilus paddles is tung oil due to its excellent properties and ease of maintenance.

Packaging and Shipping

All our paddles are shipped in wooden packaging and with a textile cover. The shipping cost is €20 for mainland Spain and €25 for the Balearic Islands.

Lateral reinforcements

Hardwood reinforcements (Maple or Sapele) on the edges of the blades, which, after the tips, are the areas most exposed to impacts. Attached to the blade with epoxy adhesive. Add this extra for only 30€.

Grip

The carved grip provides an extra traction to our paddle without the need to increase the surface area of the blade. It can be applied on one or both sides of the paddle. Add this extra for only 25€ per side.

Bone-colored resin tip

Epoxy resin tips with various additives. These tips provide an extra reinforcement simulating the aesthetic of bone reinforcements found on ancestral Greenlandic paddles.

Structural reinforcement

Hardwood (maple or sapele) reinforcement integrated throughout the length of the paddle, providing the paddle with extra strength to withstand breakage with a slight increase in weight (approximately 150g). Add this extra for only 30€.

Marine varnish

The marine varnish finish provides the paddle with a spectacular finish and fantastic resistance to the marine environment and solar radiation. Add this extra for only 50€

Graphite tip

Tips made with epoxy resin and graphite powder that provide the paddle with extra strength against impacts and a different, modern aesthetic. Add this extra for only 50€

Detachable system

Very strong detachable paddle system. Easy and quick to assemble and disassemble. Its shape is oval, perfect for Greenlandic paddles.

How to order a Nautilus kayak paddle?

In addition to the type of kayak paddle and the extras you choose, all our paddles are customized to fit the paddler's physique, so we do not have a stock of paddles.
